Sir Jay, also known as Sergei Vartiainen, is a Finnish-Russian singer, producer, and songwriter known for his unique musical fusion. Drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of the 60s and 70s while infusing it with the sounds of the new millennium, his artistry is a seamless blend of finger-picked acoustic guitar, analog synths, vintage beats, and evocative lyrics.

Relocating to Berlin just before the onset of the pandemic, Sir Jay's musical journey took an unexpected turn. Three surreal years immersed in the midnight poppies, maples, and moody streetlights of the city profoundly influenced his sound, propelling it to new heights. With a delicate yet resonant voice at the forefront, his nine-track album is a testament to meticulously crafted musical arrangements and emotionally charged lyrics, resulting in a moving experience that showcases his versatility.

The collaboration with violinist Elia Lombardini and drummer Oskari Järvinen adds a unique dimension to the album, providing the finishing touch it truly deserves.
